Lanfeng Zhou, Chinese, doctoral candidate in Cultural Studies at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and researcher at the Centre for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (CLLC), in the Gender and Performance group (GECE). I am an active and positive person with a deep interest in Chinese and gender studies. Having studied in Portugal for over 6 years, I have participated as a volunteer in various activities of the Confucius Institute during my undergraduate and master's studies. I have experience as a translator and assistant in events and projects involving intercultural communication. Academic I graduated in Portuguese Studies from Jilin University of Foreign Languages between 2014 and 2018, where I received a scholarship and served as vice-president of the Arts and Culture Directorate. During 2018-2019, I completed my study exchange at the University of Aveiro. I earned the title of "Excellent University Dissertation." I completed my master's degree in Foreign Language/Second Language at the University of Aveiro between 2017 and 2019, and I am currently in my second year of doctoral studies in Cultural Studies at the same university. I taught Mandarin at the Confucius Institute of the University of Aveiro (2017-2018) and at the Mandarin School in Porto (2020-2021). Between 2021 and 2023, I focused on teaching Portuguese at the Foreign Languages University of Jilin, China. Currently, I am a researcher in the GECE group of the CLLC.
