Varvara Keba has completed a master’s degree in information management and curation in 2021 at NOVA Information Management School and Faculty of Social and Human Sciences - Nova University of Lisbon. She also completed a licentiate's degree in languages, literatures and cultures with specialization in English and German studies in 2019 at Faculty of Social and Human Sciences - Nova University of Lisbon. The master thesis work was performed in the field of behavioural science (http://hdl.handle.net/10362/130632). The research analysed students’ behaviour during the Covid-19 pandemic and identifies the factors that motivate students to share their knowledge via social media platforms. The study provides both theoretical and practical implications. After finishing her master’s degree, she was awarded a first-stage researcher position at NOVA Information Management School. She is participating in a project about digital identity protection and data management, namely uSer-friendly digiTal sEcured peRsonal data and prIvacy plAtform. The main goal of the project is to develop and test a citizen-driven and citizen-centric, cost-effective, marketable service to enable citizens to easily and securely control their personal data. During the 1-year of her fellowship, three distinct works have been performed: a) the analysis of the citizens' general requirements and needs regarding the new tool; b) the assessment of the citizen's feedback regarding the platform; c) the analysis of citizens' specific needs regarding the digital identity protection platform. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Information Management at NOVA Information Management School - Nova University of Lisbon.
