I am an ecologist, passionate about the natural world, as I imagine most ecologists are. Still, I admit I am also fascinated by how humans interact with their surroundings, their restless pursuit for its comprehension, and especially their ability to create the world they imagine. I like to work with tools but also ideas and concepts. Thematically, I'm interested in both theoretical and applied ecology, merging my philosophical tendencies with an applied perspective. Specific interests include drivers of biodiversity and ecosystem change. Mainly, I've been working with invasive alien species.
