Ailton Moreira da Veiga. He completed the master's degree in Integrated Master Engineering and Management of Information Systems in 2017 at the School of Engineering University of Minho. In September 2016 he ventured into the Erasmus mobility program and went to Poland to do the Erasmus mobility program in the city of Poznan at the Poznan University of Technology for one semester. During his graduation, he was enrolled in several subjects related to software development such as web and mobile application, and development of computer applications where he fostered his knowledge in database (relational and non-relational), backend development, frontend development, and rest API. Also, he was enrolled in subjects of implementation of integrated systems which he developed a set of skills in interoperability and systems integrations. In this subject, he participated in a project "Easy-Pharma ¿ Mobile Pharmacy" which aimed to create a mobile pharmacy that uses different ERP systems but is all connected. He was enrolled in as well in a subject of Knowledge-Based Systems which he worked on a Transportation Acquisition Counseling project that aimed to get few inputs from users and based on that information find the best vehicle transportation to the user. He was enrolled in a subject of Systems for Business and Organization Intelligence where he fostered and improved his knowledge in data mining and data warehouse where he participated in a project of medical mining. Adaptive Systems for Business Intelligence was another subject that he was enrolled in where he was able to improve his knowledge in machine learning algorithms knowledge engineering, decision support systems. He participated in a project of Forecasting and Optimizing sales of an e-commerce company where he could apply several topics related to business intelligence, data mining, machine learning, and decision support systems. Since then, he started the investigation having started as a Research Fellow in the Intelligent Data Systems (IDS) research group at the ALGORITMI Center. He started this path-working on a project of Hospital Personal Assistant which covered topics of knowledge extraction, Knowledge in Data Systems, Integration and Interoperability Knowledge and Knowledge in Software Engineering. This project is currently implemented in "Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Vila Verde". This project showed him his passion for healthcare systems where he got enrolled in new projects at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto. Then he decides to continue the research, in September 2018 he joined the doctoral program in Information Systems and Technologies and is currently in his fourth doctoral year. During the past few years, he has participated in several R&D projects in the scope of design and integration of different information systems in several Portuguese hospital units. For the last year and current year, he had been enrolled in a project Factory of Future - Real-time Data Processing, in which he acquire and developed new soft and technical skills. In this project, he acquired and improved his knowledge in hierarchical algorithms, data extraction, and transformation, real-time data processing, ETL systems, data warehouse, systems integration, interoperability, and software development. In Febraury of 2020, he got enrolled in an English course at BabeliUM where he got the B2 level. He is passionate about technology, likes to learn new things, is always available, willing, and open to study and learn new technologies. It is characterized by its high spirit of critical thinking, resilience, autonomy, teamwork, and good humor.
