Bruno Venâncio holds a PhD in Philosophy by the Nova University of Lisbon (2016) and
is currently a PhD candidate at the Theory of Literature Program of the University
of Lisbon (2020-2026). He is a researcher at the Institute for Philosophical Studies
of the University of Coimbra since 2010, within which activities his research focus
covers the strategic area "Care, Politics and Ethics". He's also a researcher at the
Center for Global Studies of the Portuguese Open University since 2021, where he established
and coordinates the Literature, Humanism and Cosmopolitanism project. Within that
role, he organizes the annual summer course, the conference cycle on Literature, Humanism
and Cosmopolitanism, and the Heritages of Humanity seminars. He studies Philosophy
and Literature.
