Ana Vicente holds a Degree in Geology (2001) and a Master in Geosciences with specialization in Environment and Planning (2005) from the University of Coimbra. Since 2012, she holds a PhD in Science and Environmental Engineering from the University of Aveiro. From 2002 to 2009 she was collaborator at Natural Radioactivity Laboratory (LRN), University of Coimbra. From 2013 to 2019 was a pos-doc scholarship holder at the CESAM (Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies) located at the University of Aveiro. Since 2019, also at CESAM, she is Assistant Researcher. Vicente A. has been working in the chemically characterisation of emissions from different sources (e.g. biomass burning, domestic activities). Vicente A. is team member of 1 ongoing FCT-funded project and was member of 3 concluded projects (2 FCT-funded and other EU-funded). Author or co-author of 44 papers in WoS journals with about 1300 citations and a h-index of 17. In addition, Vicente A. was co-author of 1 book, 1 book chapter, 4 conference papers, 3 data sets in open-access repository (Zenodo), and about 70 works in peer-reviewed conferences, and reviewer of several WoS journals. Guest Editor of a Special Issue of the Atmosphere journal, focusing on ¿Chemical Composition and Toxicology of Indoor Particulate Matter. Vicente A. was member of the scientific committee of the International Conference ¿ Research, Practices and Contexts in Education (IPCE), School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) ¿ Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal (2019, 2020 and 2021). She has co-organised the 4th Iberian Meeting on Aerosol Science and Technology held at the UAVR between 29 Jun-1 Jul of 2016, with the participation of 60 scientific researchers. She was a member of the organising committee of the 8th International Workshop on Sand/Duststorms and Associated Dustfall, that took place in Lisbon between 1-4 May 2016. Since 2017, Vicente A. is a coordinator of the Sustainability Council of the Department of Environment and Planning (DAO) of the Aveiro University.
