José Pedro Granadeiro hold a first degree in Biologia in 1988/07/01 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências, and a PhD Degree in Environmental and Evolutionary Ecology (obtained in 1998/07/14 in the Universidade de Glasgow, Scotland, UK). He obtained the title of Habilitation in 12 September 2020 (area: Biology; Specialization: Ecology) at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. He is currently Assistant Professor in Universidade de Lisboa. He is the coordinator of the Research Group "Adaptation Biology and Ecological Progresses" of CESAM (Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies) and he is also the coordinator of the Pole of CESAM in Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. His main area of expertise is Ecology, using birds (mostly seabirds and shorebirds) as models. Most of his research focus on diet and feeding ecology, spatial and movement ecology, migration, community ecology and conservation in coastal and marine environments. He published 138 articles in journals, supervised 6 PhD thesis(es) e co-supervised 8. He participate and/or participated as Principal investigator in 4 project(s) and as Researcher in 12 project. In their professional activities interacted with 510 collaborator(s) co-authorship of scientific papers.
