I am a behavioral endocrinologist with an interest in ecology, conservation, cooperative behavior, behavior and human health and more recently in microbiome and invasion ecology. My previous work was related to cleaning mutualisms, from a behavioral point of view but also in a more integrative way, trying to know better the physiological bases of this type of cooperation. I completed my PhD in Animal Endocrinology in 2015/10/05 by Universidade do Algarve. I worked as Science and Technology Manager in MVBIO (Museu Virtual da Biodiversidade), Universidade de Évora and currently I am working with Dr Rita Covas in the Sociality research group, at CIBIO-InBio.
