Shahed Vazeh Rasekh Modabberi (Sh. Rasekh) is Junior researcher of FCT at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials / DEMaC, University of Aveiro, Portugal, since 2019. Shahed obtaining Engineering diploma in materials science in 2006, Iran, following master in Physics and Physical Technologies in University of Zaragoza in 2008, Spain. Moreover, he obtained his second Master in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in University of Zaragoza, Spain 2013. Due to the extensive works and significant results the research obtained prestigious national fellowship for developing the Ph.D. thesis by The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and completed his doctorate program in 2016 in University of Zaragoza (Spain) with CUMLAUDE and prestigious International Mention. The quality of thesis along with extensive work with remarkable achievement were recognized by University of Zaragoza, awarding him “Extraordinary Doctorate Prize” in 2017. From there, the researcher participated and won Portugal national postdoctoral fellowship (FCT) with his own idea (as continuation of his Ph.D. works) in 2017. Reacher since 2019 is Junior researcher of CEEC-IND awarded to him as top mark (9.9 point). His primary focus is on the development of ceramic materials with energy interest, i.e. Superconductors (Bi2212) and Thermoelectric ceramic materials (Cobaltite based p-type (CoO) and Perovskites n-type (CaMnO3 and Ba(Ca,Sr)TiO3). In his curriculum path context of scientific his research terms are: Seebeck; Power Factor; (Ca, Sr, Ba)TiO3; Laser Foalting Zone (LFZ); Electrically assisted LFZ (EALFZ); Wet Chemistry (Sol-Gel, PEI, etc); CIP; Hot Forging; Thermoeelctric; thermoelectric; Misfit cobaltite; electrical conductivity; Laser Flash Analysis (LFA); DSC; electrical properties; thermal conductivity; Superconductor; Thermoelctric; semiconductor; Bi2212; Current density; Robot; Energy transfer Shuttle; Ceramic; Machin learning; Robotic. Shahed has close internal collaboration from Environment, Biology, Electronic, Economy departments and external collaboration from prestigious research center from France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, etc. such as EMPA (Zurich), PETLab.(Belgium) Cekurova University (turkey), INMA (Spain).leading to developing new techniques and methods with extraordinary results. Moreover, He is closely engaged in education of new talents as collaborator professor in practical courses as well as mentoring and supervising the undergraduate student and their final carrier projects. He successfully proposed and won 3 “FCT research doctorate fellowship” project as Supervisor in 2020 and Co-supervisor in 2021 and 2022. Opening international collaboration through various actions such as JECS T trust projects, invited talks, external scientific advisor of department, etc. lead to serving as co-supervisor and advisor of an international Ph.D. student in 2021, making total of 4 on going Ph.D. student. The researcher presented the results of his extensive work on thermoelectric and superconductor materials using alternative, novel and new techniques, in 15 oral presentations and 35 posters. These significant contributions gain the researcher and his group an international recognition by more than 10 times invitation as invited speaker in international congress. Shahed co-authored ~85 SCI papers (h-index of 25 and ~1620 citations (Scopus), h-index of 27 with ~2050 citations (Google Scholar), 2 book chapters, of 3 total, and participated in 4 R&D projects, supported by national agency. Moreover, Shahed is a regular reviewer and referee of 11 journal with 28 verified peer reviews. And served as lead guest editor of journal of Symmetry in 2020-21. Recently in 2023 the researcher obtained positive evaluation from ANECA for Contracted Professorship as well as Private University Professorship.
