Teaching at Higher Education School in Viana do Castelo since 1996. Ph.D. in Science Teaching Methodology from the University of Minho; Master's in Pedagogical Supervision from the University of Aveiro, and a Degree in Physics and Chemistry Teaching from the University of Minho. Coordinating teacher since 2021. Her academic and professional career spans more than three decades and her research focuses on the training of teachers and early childhood educators. In recent years, the area of interest and research has focused on the methodology of teaching science in the first years and on pedagogical supervision of a collaborative nature, areas in which research has been developed, both nationally and internationally. He has also developed research into collaborative practices as part of the international CARN team and is a member of the board of Estreia Diálogos. In these areas, she became a reviewer for many reference magazines, among which she stands out, Sensos and Revista Portuguesa de Educação, Revista Brasileira da Educação, Enseñanza de las Ciências and JETEN magazine. With hundreds of national and international publications, he has been part of scientific committees in several national and international conferences and congresses in different thematic areas, with particular emphasis on Early Childhood Education, Pedagogical Supervision, and Science Teaching Methodology. In recent years, his area of ¿¿interest has focused on the potential of the STEAM approach in teaching.
