I am currently a PhD student in Anthropology at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULISBOA) and a PhD fellow at the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnología (FCT). I have a degree in Education from the National University of General San Martín (UNSAM), Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was a PhD student at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) in Argentina. I gave up the PhD scholarship and the PhD in Argentina due to a family move to Germany in December 2018. I also worked for 6 years at the Center for Studies on Inequalities, Subjects and Institutions (CEDESI) dependent on the School of Humanities of the National University of General San Martín (EHU-UNSAM), where we work in schools located in contexts of extreme urban poverty and environmental degradation commonly called slums. My research topics have focused on experiences of precariousness and dynamics of social inclusion of secondary school students in contexts of extreme urban poverty and environmental degradation. Currently, my research topic for the PhD is developed in relation to the construction of corporality with forcibly nomadic gypsies families from Évora and Montemor-o-Novo (central Alentejo), families with whom I have been working since January 2021. The ethnography with the gypsies families of Alentejo was the product of the approach to the reality of the Portuguese context, and with the intention of understanding the dynamics of territorial and racial inequality of an always controversial social sector in Portugal. Nomadic Subjectivities, a concept coined by Rosi Braidotti but also strongly influenced by queer and posthumanist theories (Haraway, 1991; Barad, 2003; Wittig, 2005; Preciado, 2011), was one of the great theoretical and epistemological tools for thinking about the intra-action (Barad, 2003) between natureculture, as suggested by Haraway and its implications for subjectivity. Working with the families, an ecosophical articulation was developed (Guattari, 2004), that is, modes of interaction between environmental ecology, social ecology and mental ecology that allowed us to collectively think of new ways of living based on the affective codependency of all forms of life. In this sense, these ways of mutuality and interconnection are presented as new collective agencies of enunciation (Deleuze and Guattari, 2002).
