I am an Invited Assistant Professor in Social Psychology at the University Institute of Lisbon (Iscte-IUL) and a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte). I hold a Cotutelle double-degree PhD in Architecture and Design Culture (University of Bologna) and in Psychology (Iscte-IUL). My PhD project investigated in-place political participation of university students' in mobility. My research interests are focused on the interplay between urban policies and citizens’ meaning-making processes, and how they contribute to the construction of communities, places, and borders. This interest is pursued by adopting an transdisciplinary perspective which involves Social Psychology, Urban Political Studies, and Urban Aesthetics.
