Magda Cristina Cafum Teles Saturnino

Magda C. Teles holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Sciences, a Master’s degree in Psychobiology from ISPA - Instituto Universitário de Ciências Psicológicas, Sociais e da Vida, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon. She is currently a Research Assistant at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine, where her work focuses on brain developmental plasticity, brain evolution, epigenetics, and animal cognition.She has published 24 articles in scientific journals and contributed to one book section. Her academic involvement includes the supervision of six MSc dissertations and the mentorship of one BSc final project. Over the course of her career, she has received one award or honor and has been actively engaged in various research projects, two as a Postdoctoral Fellow, one as a Principal Investigator, three as a Research Fellow, and two as a Researcher
