Dr Imed Beghoura completed his PhD in Civil Engineering (Alkali-activated materials) from the University of Beira Interior in 2022, During his PhD primary research focuses on developing new tungsten-based alkali-activated lightweight foamed materials incorporating expanded granulated cork. He obtained his master’s degree in 2015 with a thesis entitled ’’Contribution to the formulation of High Performance Concrete (HPC) based on local materials’’ at the Department of Civil Engineering from the University of Bordj Bou Arréridj, Algeria. Dr Beghoura’s research interest is construction materials as well as sustainable building materials and technologies including Construction Materials, Building Materials, Advanced Materials, Green Building, Concrete Technologies, alkali-activated materials, Civil Engineering, Cement, Mechanical Properties, and Thermal Properties.
