Fabricio Bozzi is an electrical engineer of the Brazilian Navy Corps of Engineers with experience in underwater acoustic signal processing. He has worked in the sonar field for six years at the Brazilian Navy Research Institute, where he developed array signal processing tools, acoustic equipment, and acquisition systems. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. His research interest includes array signal processing, sonar systems, acoustic vector sensors, and underwater communications. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Algarve, Portugal. His doctoral research regards acoustic vector sensors for underwater communications.

2021/07/19 - 2021/07/30 The summer course it’s organized by the MIT Portugal Program (MPP) in collaboration with the LSTS – Underwater Systems and Technology Laboratory (FEUP), the participation of Colab +Atlantic, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the School of Engineering from University of Minho. For 2 weeks, and in-person, 15-20 selected candidates will work on a project – underwater Glider – and will spend some days assembling it. By the end, the students will present their work and test it on water.
