Telma Barbosa is a Portuguese Paediatric Respiratory Medicine Consultant working in the Paediatric Pulmonology Unit of Centro Materno-Infantil do Norte (CMIN), Centro Hospitalar do Porto (CHP), Porto, Portugal. She is the coordinator of the Cystic Fibrosis Centre and an element of the Paediatric Bronchoscopy Team of CHP. In 2013 become an ERS HERMES diplomate in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine. Her special interests include Cystic Fibrosis, Primary ciliary dyskinesia, Non-Invasive Ventilation, Primary Pulmonary Dyskinesia and Paediatric Bronchoscopy. She holds the European Diploma in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine (European Respiratory Society). She is responsible for the clinical audit process in the Pediatric Service since 2010 and interlocutor at this level for the Risk Office. She is member of the Pediatric Medical Internship Coordination since 2013 and responsible for the European Pediatric CF Register at the CHP. Since January 2017, he has been part of the pediatric pulmonology section of the Portuguese Society of Pediatrics and participating in the organization of meetings in this area. She also participates in the activities developed by the Portuguese Association of Cystic Fibrosis. She was involved in the training and orientation of medical and nursing students. She is also actively involved in scientific activity, being involved in 6 projects in last years, collaborating with more than 10 scientific articles and being a reviewer of the "Pediatric Pulmonology" Journal.
