I am an FCT Principal Researcher (with Agregação) at the Group of Mathematical Physics of Lisbon University, and an Invited Associate Professor at the Lisbon School of Economics (ISEG). I completed the PhD in Mathematics (Mathematical Physics) in 2010 by Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), under the supervision of Boris Dubrovin, and in 2021 I obtained the Habilitation (Agregação) in Mathematical Physics by the University of Lisbon. I was a visiting scholar of the R.I.M.S. (Kyoto, July 2010), of The University of Sydney (Nov-Dec 2015), of Centro De Giorgi (Scuola Normale di Pisa, Dec 2017), of the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics (Nov-Dec 2018, Aug-Sep 2022), and of the Isaac Newton Institute (Cambridge, May 2021). I have published 20 papers, mostly in top journals. These include Comm. Math. Phys (4 x), Nonlinearity (2x), Math. Annalen, JHEP, JSTAT, Int. Math. Res. Notices, Physica D, JPhysA, Letters in Mathematical Physics (2x), Nucl. Phys. B. I was the P.I. of one FCT research project "Irregular connections on algebraic curves and quantum field theory" (2018-2022, 222.000 Euro), and of the FCT Exploratory Project "A mathematical foundation for the ODE/IM correspondence" (2017-2021, 50.000 Euro), and I am the co-PI of a further FCT Exploratory Project "Genide" (2023-2025). Moreover, I am the recipient of the FCT Principal Researcher CEEC Grant (2022-2028) and I was the recipient of the FCT Investigator Starting Grant (2017-2021) and the FCT PostDoc scholarship (2012-2017). I have organised several international conferences, one triennial seminar series, and four mini-courses, whose contributions are recorded and freely available at https://irregular.rd.ciencias.ulisboa.pt. I belong to the editorial board of a special volume of Letters in Mathematical Physics (June 2022), dedicated to the memory of Boris Dubrovin. I currently supervise one post-doc researcher and one PhD student and I have formerly supervised three post-doc researchers. I have delivered over 60 invited talks.
