Ligia Barcellos (LB) has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from CEFET and a Master’s degree in Design and Marketing of Textile Products, Apparel and Accessories from the University of Minho (UM), Portugal (2018). She is currently a PhD candidate in Textile Engineering at UM (since 2022). She completed continuing education in Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing (Textile Enhancement) and additional training in Natural Dyeing. Her research interests focus on textiles and sustainability. She was a volunteer researcher in the Azores EcoBlue project (2022–2024) and a member of the BIOCOLOUR research team at the Centre for Textile Science and Technology (2C2T), University of Minho, where she worked as a Master’s Degree Fellow (10/2022–06/2023).
