Cristiana do Couto Pereira Maia. Completed the graduate degree in Microbiology in 2006 by Universidade Católica Portuguesa Escola Superior de Biotecnologia and in 2011 completed the Masters degree in Microbial and Molecular Biology by Universidade do Algarve Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Currently is a PhD student of Centre of Marine Sciences, with a PhD grant awarded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.
