Tiago Fonseca is a Portuguese researcher and member of the Software for Cyber Physical Systems (SoftCPS) research group at the School of Engineering of the Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP). This group is also part of the Human-Centered Computing and Information Science (HumanISE) research centre within INESC TEC. Tiago is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), where he will explore deeper into decentralized applications, multi-agent reinforcement learning, and the integration of cyber-physical systems in the energy and robotics sectors. His interests lie at the intersection of computer science and AI with fields such as IoT, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, and Energy. His research portfolio reflects this passion, featuring published papers in conferences and journals related to energy and smart city solutions. Tiago has also collaborated with various national and international companies and institutions on several international research and industry projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative AI-based solutions. When he is not researching, Tiago enjoys photography, motorsports and travelling.
