Elisabete Nascimento Gonçalves graduated in 2012 in Biomedical Engineering at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD); completed in 2014 a master¿s degree in biomedical engineering from Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Porto. Since 2018 until 2023 she was a PhD fellowship sponsored by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia in Veterinary Sciences-Biomedical Sciences. Presently, she is on a research fellowship in University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro financed by the project Vine&Wine Portugal- PRR004 . She has published 15 articles in ISI/SCOPUS journals, of which 8 are the first author, and 4 abstracts in ISI/Scopus journals. Elisabete Nascimento-Gonçalves has a h index of 5. She presented 19 Oral communications in conferences and 17 poster communications in conferences. Elisabete Nascimento-Gonçalves was awarded the prize for best oral communication in European Society for Clinical Investigation (ESCI) Virtual Meeting in 2021.
