I am a PhD student at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia in Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The main purpose of my research is to make a contribution to the development of automatic, miniaturized and cost-effective health and environmental analysis methodologies. In recent years, my research has been primarily focused on the use of microfluidic methodologies based on paper, coupled with spectrophotometric detection, for development of sensors capable of providing rapid analytical measurements.
