Sydelle is currently a student at the University of Edinburgh where she is reading for the MSc in Psychological Research. She also holds an MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition (Distinction) from the University of Oxford and a BA in Language Sciences with a focus on General and Portuguese Linguistics from the University of Lisbon. She is an Integrated Member (without PhD) at CLUL where she works on experimental projects involving derivational morphology in European Portuguese. Her own research focuses on the acquisition and processing of verb-noun collocations in the L1 and L2 speakers. Sydelle is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of St Catherine's Academic Review and a junior researcher at The Word Lab.
