Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Regional de Blumenau (2012), Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica (Sistemas de Potência) pela Universidade Regional de Blumenau (2015), Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (2021). De 2020 a 2021 desenvolveu pesquisa como Visiting Graduate Scientific Researcher em inteligência artificial aplicada à identificação de falhas em isoladores de alta tensão na University of Regina (Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science), através do Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP), do Governo do Canadá. Foi coordenador do curso de graduação em Engenharia Elétrica na Universidade do Planalto Catarinense (UNIPLAC) de 2016 à 2020 e coordenador do setor de internacionalização no ano de 2020. Sua pesquisa está focada em condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of complex industrial systems: Model-based reasoning meets data science.
