Marta M. Duarte was born in Porto in 1991. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, and a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Faculty of Biotechnology of the Catholic University of Porto, where currently she works as a PhD student. Her main areas of research are decellularization of biological tissues, supercritical fluid extraction, and the design of biomaterials to be used in the context of wound healing and regeneration.
