Antonio Muñoz Mérida finished its PhD in Advanced biotechnology and bioinformatics in 2013/02/21 at University of Malaga. Since then, he has been working as principal researcher at CIBIO-InBIO belonging to the University of Porto where he also teaches in three different MsC programs. He has tutorized 6 MsC students and published more than 40 scientific papers of high impact. His expertise is in Bioinformatics and Computational biology, and he develop his research helping several groups with the data analysis regarding Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Population genomics, GWAS, Software development, and all related to data from NGS in general.
