Ulisses Miranda Azeiteiro is Associate Professor with Aggregation in Universidade de Aveiro (UA). He is Member of the Biology Department (DBio) Council and Coordinator of the "Laboratory of Global Changes in Marine Systems". He is the Director of the Doctorate in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes. In the Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM), Universidade de Aveiro, he was (July 2021 to 2024) the Coordinator of Thematic Line: Marine Ecosystems & Resources (MER). He Published 138 articles in international refereed with Impact Factor journals (SCOPUS 41h-index) and 4 books; He edited 23 books and 52 book chapters (international divulgation). He was (is) member of several scientific committees from international scientific events (Congresses). He served as Evaluator in International, European and National funding agencies, Recruitment Juris in Portuguese Higher Education Institutions, and participated in several International and National projects (competitive fund raising). He Supervised and co-supervised 18 PhD thesis (2 more ongoing). He Supervised and co-supervised 74 MSc dissertation(s). He served in viva voce oral test candidate defense in 54 PhD thesis and 171 MSc dissertations. He is “Associate Editor” for the International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management IF 3.5 2023 Impact Factor.
