Brígida Teixeira is a researcher at Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development (GECAD) at the School of Engineering (ISEP) of the Polytechnic of Porto (IPP), and Invited Assistant Professor at ISEP-IPP. She is also a PhD student at the University of Salamanca, attending the doctoral program in Computer Engineering applied to the Intelligent Systems field, with the thesis title: “Explainable Contextual Models for Automated Machine Learning in Power and Energy”. Her main interests regard the application of intelligent systems applied to power and energy systems, including automated machine learning, explainable AI, data mining, multi-agent systems, semantics, and decision support systems. She has been involved in 12 research projects. She published 6 articles in journals, 4 book chapters, and 10 conference papers. She also co-supervised 6 BSc final projects.
