FELIPE LAGE TEIXEIRA

Felipe Lage Teixeira has a degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering and a master in Industrial Engineering – Branch of Electrical Engineering at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. He is pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computers Engineering at the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Vila Real). His professional experience is based on developing software capable of detecting speech pathologies. In his PhD, he focuses on utilizing artificial intelligence, particularly deep neural networks, to detect mental health pathologies. This expertise allows him to extend the application of these technologies to other areas as well, beyond pathology detection, opening doors to various innovative solutions.

Comparative Analysis of Windows for Speech Emotion Recognition Using CNN. The paper presents the comparison of accuracy in the Speech Emotion Recognition task using the Hamming and Hanning windows for framing the speech and determining the spectrogram to be used as input of a convolutional neural network.
