Researcher at the Laboratory of Comparative Endocrinology and Integrative Biology, Algarve Marine Science Center, University of Algarve. I have long been committed to theoretical research on marine bivalve immunity, molecular evolution, shell mineralization, osmotic pressure regulation, neuroendocrine regulation, etc., focusing on the impact of ecological environmental changes on mollusc physiology and adaptability issues, as well as the mechanism and evolutionary history of mollusc shell mineralization. Based on theoretical research, I explore the application practice of inland saline and freshwater aquaculture of highly adaptable marine economic mollusc. I have published more than 14 SCI papers as the first author. I participated in 2 Portuguese National Natural Science Foundation projects as the second author.
