Teresa Rita Pereira is a portuguese archaeologist. She completed her PhD in Archeology and Prehistory in 2018/04/09 by the University of Lisbon - School of Letters, a Master in Prehistory and Archeology in 2008 and a Degree in Archeology and History in 2005 at the same University. She is a Senior Technician - Archaeologist at the Museum of Archaeology and Etnography of the District of Setúbal / Association of Municipalities of the Region of Setúbal since 2015. Previously (2005-2008) she was an archaeologist at the Municipality of Vila de Rei - Central Portugal, near Castelo Branco, where she studied the roman gold-mining exploitation located in that region. Her PhD project, financed by the FCT (2010-2014), focused on the role of the army in the process of romanization of the Iberian peninsular territory, especially in the Alto Alentejo region that would integrate the "so-called" Baeturia Caeltica. She has published several articles in specialized magazines, and some book chapters. She works in the area of Humanities with an emphasis on History and Archeology.
