His research explores biocultural approaches to the human behaviors through the examination of the complex interplay between human biology, environment, and culture. His areas of research specialization include human dental wear, dietary reconstruction, paleobiology, body modification, bioarchaeological approaches to human social identities, functional morphology, virtual anthropology, among other topics.
