Pietro Faccioli obtained the "Título de Agregado in Física" in 2012 at the Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico, completed the "Dottorato di Ricerca in Fisica" in 2003 and the "Laurea in Fisica" in 1999 at the Università degli Studi di Bologna. He works in the area of Physical Sciences with emphasis on Particles and Fields. He is contracted researcher at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas (LIP). He is main author of about 50 articles in journals, many of which written with one, two or three co-authors, 5 book sections and 11 internal analysis reports of the CERN CMS experiment. He presented his work in 35 invited talks in international venues. While the publications listed in this CV only represent the output of the scientific activities in which he has been deeply involved, he is also co-author hundreds of journal papers as a member of experimental collaborations at DESY and CERN (full list in https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1849-6692). He supervises 1 PhD thesis e has co-supervised 4. Has received 3 distinctions. He participates as Principal investigator in 1 project and as Researcher in 2 projects.
