Luisa Maria Dias Pereira

Luisa Dias Pereira was a MSCA-IF fellow at the Architettura>Energia Research Center, Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara, Italy (HeLLo project, GA No 796712, hellomscaproject.eu), 2018-2020. She completed her PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems (2016) at the University of Coimbra (UC) under the MIT-Portugal Program. She holds a Master's in Energy for Sustainability from the same university (2011) and a Degree in Architecture (2007) from the University of Porto. In her CV the most frequent keywords in the context of scientific and technological output are: Natural ventilation; Air flow; Ventilation requirements; Indoor Environmental Quality; School energy audit; Energy efficiency; Web-based monitoring; Simulation; Thermal comfort; PMV/PPD indices; Preventive Conservation; Cultural Heritage; Historic buildings. She has published 28 articles in journals, has 1 book, 1 book chapter and over 20 conference communications. She supervised 1 MSc dissertation and co-supervised 2 MSc dissertations. She is currently co-supervising another MSc dissertation and she is co-supervising one PhD student. Luisa received 9 awards and/or honors. As PhD Student Fellow, she participated in 2 projects. She was the Principal investigator (PI) in 1 project ((HeLLo project, GA No 796712), and was a Researcher in 3 other projects. She works in the areas of Engineering and Technology with an emphasis on Civil Engineering, Engineering and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Architecture. As a contracted researcher at ADAI, she supports project coordination, contributes to projects WP report writing, coordination meetings assistance, and launching scholarships She has co-authored scientific papers with more than 45 researchers and scores a Scopus h-index of 12 (https://bit.ly/2LSYIWQ). She has integrated the scientific committee of six scientific events and since 2014 she has been a reviewer for over 20 peer-reviewed journals (https://www.webofscience.com/wos/author/record/K-6655-2015).
