Maria Zozaya-Montes studied History at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), there received the BA prize of the Academic year (UCM, 1999) and the PhD Extraordinary Prize for a doctoral dissertation in History (UCM, 2009). Between 1998 and 2008, she obtained several research grants (FPI-CAM; I3p-CSIC; Caja-Madrid Foundation) at the CSIC (National Council for Spanish Scientific Research, IH, Madrid). She had a Juan de la Cierva senior research contract to investigate at Valladolid´s University (Spain, 2008-2011). She worked as a researcher in Évora University (CIDEHUS), with a Post-doctoral Grant (2013-2019), and with a research contract since 2019, both sponsored by Portughese Foundation of Science and Technology. Besides the awards of Complutense University, she has received: Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Ronda National Prize in History (RMR, 1999); Spanish Social History Society Research Prize (AHS, 2007); International Villa de Madrid Award (PVM, 2008). --- Maria Zozaya-Montes has a strong track record in her area of expertise: She has given many conferences about sociability spaces and has written 5 books, 20 chapters in specialized books, and 20 articles in journals. She has been invited to write 4 book-reviews and to be a peer review of 12 indexed reviews. She was invited 10 times as keynote speaker (Cádiz, Guipúzcoa, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Tarragona, Paris, Messina, Moscow...). She has presented 40 communications in conferences in Europe and in Asia (Beijing, Busan) or America (Costa Rica). She was an international jury of 3 PhD Thesis (Cádiz, Oviedo), and has been the director of 4 international visiting researchers. In her professional activities interacted with several collaborators, the most remarkable when she organized the International Conference Socyhume about Heritage and Sociability, or co-directing Heritales Project, which seeks to increase knowledge transfer about heritage throughout arts (www.heritales.org). --- The most frequent terms in her Ciência Vitae resumé are Cultural History, Sociability, Mentalities, Feelings; Private Life; Public Life.
