Joana Filipa Gomes da Silva holds an MSc in Medical Microbiology (2016) from Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical and a BSc in Microbiology (2013) from Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Escola Superior de Biotecnologia. She specializes in Medical and Health Sciences, with a focus on Infectious Diseases and Microbiology. In addition to her research activities, Joana is responsible for preparing materials for practical Microbiology classes at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. Over the past years, she has participated in four research projects and continues to collaborate on various projects within the Molecular Microbiology and Infection Unit.
