Osborne Francisco Xavier Almeida. Works in the area(s) of Medical and Health Sciences, with Neuroscience at the focus of his research. Until recently, his main work (mainly in rodents) concerned the mechanisms responsible for the disruption of neuronal circuits and anxiety. depression and cognition under the modulation of age, gender and environmental factors such as stress. In the last year, his attention has centered on the stigma associated with mental disorders.
