Jorge S. S. Júnior is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Coimbra (2019-). He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (2014-2019) and Electrical Technician degree (2011-2013) from Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA, Imperatriz, Brazil). His current research interests include computational intelligence, fuzzy logic, deep fuzzy systems, explainable artificial intelligence, interpretable models and industrial processes. Jorge S.S. Júnior previously worked with manipulation and aerial robotics, intelligent control and multivariable modelling of complex systems.

SEEE had, among other activities, presentations of research papers, shows by the companies ELETRONORTE and DVM Solar, lectures by 7 of the largest engineering companies in the state of Maranhão, the Regional Engineering Council and CONDEVASF (Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales do São Francisco and Parnaíba).
