Ricardo André Campos Ferraz

My research interests are related to Plants Sciences and Sexual Plant Reproduction. Plants regulate their reproductive processes splendidly, culminating in the successful seed formation, which is a key event in the life of plants and even in our life. Understanding the factors regulating plant reproduction is a complex biological process and currently an essential need to improve agricultural productivity. Therefore, a fine acquaintance of the fundamental molecular processes, finely regulating plant reproduction, will allow increasing crop productivity and high quality seed production, the most important source of food in our planet. I concluded my master's degree in Functional Biology and Plants Biotechnology with the theme "STK target genes crosstalk in Arabidopsis thaliana ovules and seed development".
