Current position: Associate Professor of Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP); Coordinator of the Thematic Line "Smart and efficient construction" of the R&D unit CONSTRUCT- Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction. Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from FEUP (1997); Master in Construction from FEUP (2001); PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Porto (2007); Hbilitation in Civil Engineering (2022). Main research interests/skills: Application of Building Physics and Building Technology to the development of Smart and Efficient Buildings - energy efficiency, thermal comfort, hygrothermal behaviour, occupant behaviour, building monitoring, Digital Building Twins, durability, building services, pathology and rehabilitation. Main Activities: Principal Investigator (PI) of 3 research projects, PI at FEUP of 3 research projects, participation in 5 research projects, supervisor of 5 PhD Thesis completed, co-supervisor of 3 PhD Thesis completed and 6 ongoing, author of more than 150 scientific and technical publications, including 64 SCIE articles.
