I am a Fisheries Engineer, having graduated from the Federal Rural University of the Amazon - UFRA in 2012. I subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries from the Federal University of Pará - UFPA in 2015, and a PhD in Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries from the Nucleus of Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries in the Amazon - NEAP in 2020. Throughout my career, I have worked as a consultant and researcher for both public and private companies and as an Environmental Analyst at the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability of Pará - SEMAS. I am a researcher at the Institute of Marine Research (IMAR, Portugal) within the Department of Oceanography and Fisheries of the University of the Azores (DOP / UAç), where I am actively involved in several working groups of ICES and FAO. I also serve as a collaborator in the Laboratory of Fish Biology and Management of Aquatic Resources at the Federal University of Pará - UFPA, Brazil. My expertise lies in the areas of fisheries and fisheries resources, industrial fisheries, small-scale fisheries, management of fisheries resources, population dynamics and assessment of fisheries stocks and ecological risk assessment.
