My name is Bruno Miguel Ferreira Casimiro. I Completed my Master in Biochemistry in 2014 from the University of Coimbra- Faculty of Sciences and Technology and my Degree in Biology in 1999/05 from the same university. I have been attending the Ph.D. in Biosciences program at the University of Coimbra- Faculty of Sciences and Technology since 2020/02/01, for which I have a scholarship from the national science committee. My Work is in the area(s) of Natural sciences with an emphasis on Biochemistry and Biotechnology Plant sciences. In my professional activities, I interacted with 9 collaborator(s) co-authors of scientific papers, published one article in peer-reviewed journals, and participated in various scientific meetings. I've received two awards and honors, including one from EMBO for the 2nd best poster at the International plant systems biology 2021. As a background, I've worked as a teacher for 20 years, during which I had the opportunity to participate in various EMBO-organized activities that kept me connected with the most updated science and had an essential role in my teaching and in the option that I made in 2020 to do a Ph.D. Today I feel that with the knowledge and experience that I've acquired during my Ph.D. mixed with my teaching experience, I can be a better facilitator in the acquisition of scientific knowledge since I can understand the science behind the facts and show them in a comprehensive way for the audience in front of me, with the most suitable message. I think I would/will be the perfect candidate for you.
