Ana Catarina Mário Peixoto completed her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management on July 26, 2025, at the Porto School of Engineering (ISEP), part of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP). Her academic background combines strong foundations in industrial systems, operations management, and analytical decision-making with a growing focus on digital technologies and intelligent systems. Since October 3, 2025, she has been attending the Integrated Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the ISEP, further strengthening her expertise in software development, artificial intelligence, and computational systems. She is currently a Research Fellow at the ISEP, contributing to the Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development. In this capacity, she is involved in the DigiMaTRIA project, an innovative research initiative that integrates robotics, IoT-based sensing technologies, and artificial intelligence to transform the maintenance of the external envelope of industrial assets. Through a Digital Twin-based approach, the project enables continuous monitoring, predictive fault detection, and data-driven decision-making, aiming to reduce operational costs, extend asset lifespan, and promote environmental sustainability.
