Jaime A. Martins, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Algarve and a CEOT researcher specializing in computational neuroscience, neural networks for low-level vision, bio-inspired identity recognition, and energy-efficient IoT devices using genetic algorithms. Holding dual degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Clinical Psychology, along with a PhD in Computer Science (2014, University of Algarve), he has contributed to advancements in the "Web of Things" paradigm (W3C/IEEE), deep learning for fruit analytics and chemometrics, and bioinformatics.
