Lucas Sakurada has graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR), Brazil, and obtained his master degree in Industrial Engineering at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), Portugal. Currently, he is a PhD student at the University of Salamanca (USAL), Spain, owner of a PhD scholarship funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). Also, he is a researcher at the Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI), Portugal. His research interests are related to developing Industry 4.0 compliant solutions, particularly the digitization process of industrial assets using Multi-agent Systems in the Cyber-physical Systems context.
