Marta Falcão holds a MSc in Biomedical Science and a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology, having completed her studies with an average final grade of 16 out of 20. Her MSc, conducted at the National Institute for Agriculture and Veterinary Research titled Bagaza Virus - Phylogenetic Analysis, Development and Validation of molecular diagnostic methods, as resulted in a publication as first author in an international journal and a presentation at the Symposium for Biology Students in Europe 2023 Koper. Her work with CDG & Allies resulted in 2 publications (1 as first author and another as co-author), in the creation of a poster presented at 3 international conferences, in the oral presentation at an international conference SymBioSE 2022 - Freiburg and a consequent award and in the production of 8 infographics and in the translation of more than 15. She has been envolved in the organization of several events. Marta interned in several organizations such as ITQB NOVA, SynLab and the company Cascais Ambiente.
