Assistant Researcher and Science and Technology Manager at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal). PhD (ULeeds - UK), Chem. Eng. (UCoimbra - Portugal), post-graduations in Professional Project Management and in Environmental Technology. Project Management Professional (PMP®). External expert (project proposals evaluation) for the European Commission (FP7, H2020), among other national and international R&D funding bodies. Participated in over 20 international and national research and innovation projects (coordinator of 10). His research interests comprise circular bioeconomy; R&D, innovation and project management at higher education institutions; and, professionals working at the interface of science.
