Cláudia Neves obtained her PhD in Sustainable Chemistry in 2019, Master in Organic Chemistry and Natural Products in 2010 and degree in Biochemistry in 2008 by the University of Aveiro. She is author/co-author of 13 peer-reviewed papers, 1 conference paper, 1 book chapter, 18 oral communications and 28 poster communications in national and international meetings. Her PhD was focused on the synthesis and characterization of metalloporphyrins to be used as catalysts capable of mimicking the role of CYP450 enzymes in oxidation reactions, under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions. In recent years she has been involved in 10 R&D projects, two of which as Principal Investigator (one ongoing). Over the last 4 years, she has been carried out research in Polytechnic Institute of Viseu focused on the valorization of by-products from the agri-food sector and on the more efficient use of natural resources, thus contributing to the creation of value and protection of the environment in cooperation with producers, industry and the business sector.

Before each debate, the topics were addressed by a keynote speaker with a relevant CV in the area. The event also featured a panel dedicated to financing R&D projects in the sector.

The event also included a panel dedicated to companies on “Models and Strategies for Valuing Knowledge” and the first 'think thank' for future literacy in forest-based circular bioeconomy. In this technological exhibition, some products developed within the scope of the F4F PP21 project were shown.
