In 2022, I concluded an integrated master’s in biomedical engineering by the University of Minho. My master’s thesis entitled "Development of peptide based cosmetic formulations" was developed at CEB at University of Minho and consisted in the expression and characterization of several proteins containing a bioactive peptide with affinity towards hair. In November 2022, when I finished my master’s degree, I was invited to make part of SOLFARCOS company, in the biotech department, starting a research grant, where was proposed to produce and to purify recombinant proteins which properties were inspired by nature, targeting the cosmetic industry.
