Maria Cristina Carrupt Ferreira Borges

Maria Cristina Carrupt Ferreira Borges attends the Ph.D. in Materials and Advanced Processing at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, since 2019/10, where develops research about metallic thin films deposited by sputtering. From 2020/11/01 to 2021/31/03, participated in the project entitled "STOP SARS-CoV-2 - Strategic thin films opposed to pandemia SARS-CoV-2", where he collaborated in the development and characterization of copper thin films, deposited by sputtering. Completed the Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, on 2018/09/05 from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - Brazil. This degree is duly recognized in Portugal as a Master's degree in Materials Engineering. Completed the Bachelor´s degree in Metallurgical Engineering on 2004/09/24 from Universidade Federal Fluminense - Brazil. She was an Assistant Professor at the Centro Paula Souza for Technological Education (Brazil), from 2012 to 2019, being responsible for the curricular component "welding metallurgy".
